The required iPhone upload is still the 6.9-inch class. 1320×2868 is already a valid 6.9-inch portrait size. Optional 6.3-inch shots exist for 17 Pro-class phones. Apple has not listed iPhone 18 or a foldable on this page as of writing.
Rumored 18 Pro sizes — labeled as rumored
Hardware rumors going into the September 9 event put iPhone 18 Pro around 6.3 inches and iPhone 18 Pro Max around 6.9 inches — the same display classes as iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. If that holds, you do not need a new required screenshot size for Pro Max. Keep shipping 6.9-inch frames. 1320×2868 remains a valid upload. Optional 6.3-inch frames stay optional.

- If that mapping is correct, the required set does not change.

The rumored foldable is the actual watch item
A rumored foldable is a different problem. Leaks cluster around a ~5.5-inch cover and a ~7.8-inch inner display, possibly near 4:3 on the inside. That aspect ratio is not the tall 6.9-inch class. If Apple ships a foldable iPhone, App Store Connect will almost certainly add a new screenshot class — the way it added 6.9-inch and 6.3-inch when those displays showed up. Until the specifications page names the device and lists pixel sizes, there is nothing to design to.
- Do not invent an inner-display pixel size from a diagonal rumor.
- Do not upload a 4:3 canvas into the 6.9-inch slot and hope Connect crops it.
- Watch App Store Connect Help → Screenshot specifications for a new iPhone row.
- When that row exists, recapture the inner UI at the listed size. Not before.
Recapture the UI, not the rumor
The honest recapture triggers are visual, and they were already true last month. If Dynamic Island shrinks enough that old screenshots look dated, recapture.
