The only download URL worth bookmarking is x.ai/bot . Grok Bot uses Cursor authentication. If a third-party site is offering a “Grok Bot APK” or a Linux .deb on day one of the beta, treat it as malware until xAI says otherwise.
Platform support is documented in the Grok Bot FAQ , not in launch-week screenshots of a Linux build that may have been a rumor. At initial launch the supported set is macOS, Windows, and iPhone.

If you are on Linux, Android, or iPad, you cannot run the official Grok Bot client yet. Plan around Mac, Windows, or iPhone, or wait.
Install without making a mess
- Desktop: download from x.ai/bot, sign in with the Cursor account that holds the seat, create one Bot, grant access per job.
- iPhone: same account. Threads sync. iOS 18 is the floor; if the App Store page says otherwise, trust the store listing over this sentence and recapture your own listing screenshots.
- Do not sideload an Android package. Android is not a launch platform.
- Do not run unofficial “Telegram Grok Bot” bridges and assume they are this product. They are not.

I downloaded it. Why can’t I create a Bot?
